CV Cafe (face-to-face appointments)

Meet one of our consultants in person for an in-depth CV review at the Royal Festival Hall, South Bank Centre.

The sessions offer individual advice and guidance on targeting your CV to a specific area of work or role. We will give you feedback on initial impressions, design and layout, relevant structure and content*. It’s a valuable opportunity to focus on the development of your CV, where you will be able to ask questions and discuss particular areas of concern. This is all done within a supportive setting to help you to make the most of your experience and acheive your potential. You will leave with clear suggestions of how your CV could be improved.

We also offer extended sessions with more time for discussion if preferred. If you would like us to review your covering letter as well, please book a double session allowing time for both documents to be discussed.

This service is available on Thursday or Friday most weeks, between 11.00am and 5.00pm. In addition we can sometimes offer early evening or Saturday appointments by arrangement.  All sessions need to be agreed in advance, with enough time for the booking to be processed and confirmed - this usually takes around 24 hours.

* Please note this does not include proofreading. This additional service may be booked separately.

Options

Standard – single session focused on a review of your CV or covering letter. This is ideal for those who are at a more advanced stage in the development of their CV.

30 minutes, £25 or £30 evenings & Saturday.

Extended – single session focused on a review of your CV or covering letter, but with more time for further discussion. This is ideal for those who are at an earlier stage in the development of their CV or anyone with specific questions/ concerns needing more time to discuss.

45 minutes, £35 or £40 evenings & Saturday.

Double – a double session to review both your CV and covering letter together, with time to review both documents and consider the whole application package.

60 minutes, £45 or £50 evenings & Saturday.
